Super Simple Technique to make stamps with your Cricut!
i. Love. Stamps. I can write this in capital letters and anywhere. I love stamps so much that i spent quite an amount in buying stamps even when i was struggling to make ends meet. I don't know... It feels like mini cheap printer. I think. I bought it online from many instagram sellers until the day i realised that pcal shops produce them too. And for pretty cheap(or so i thought). I didn't even have to pay for shipping. what's more, i could customize and sell! And so i did. Untill i realised, local bought stamps were good enough keepsakes. But it didn't help me with a business because it bought a bare minimum profit that wasn't even worth all the effort that went into storing, selling, promoting, marketting and Shipping them. And there ended my business related obsession with stamps. Until, i bought my cricut. And found out that i could make stamps on my own. Now you can actually make money with these. Though these stamps are a little bit different from the laser cut variety, these still work. And kids will definitely love them. And if you can get a few testimonial videos of kids loving your simple cute stamps, you can make money with it. But i just stuck to the having fun part with my cricut made stamps because by then i had already found out something that i love and i didn't really want to start any new businesses. Here's how you can make your very own stamps with cricut.
1) Foam sheets
2) Cricut
3) Glue (preferably something strong enough to withstand pressure)
4) Stamp Base
Step one:
Using your Cricut, cut any shape of your choice. Make sure you make a small rectangular border around the design. This border will help you with alignment later.
Once the cut is complete, peel out the border
Step two:
Now use this cut out border and place the cut parts on it carefully.
The rectangle will help in keeping your design intact.place all the cut outs back into its original place within the rectangular (or square) cut out.
Step three:
In this image, it includes the four tiny paw toes and the paw pad.
Step Four:
Carefully place the alignment over the stampbase. Press carefully over the areas where you've applied the glue
And here it is! Your cute stamp!
Step five: have lots of fun!
Bonus points:
Here are two are the different ways you can use a stamp:
For branding. Logo stamps. Customize your packaging, wrapping, carrybags, thank you cards, everything!
Educational purposes. Kids love to play with stamps! And this is the cheapest and quickest possible way to make a decent stamp.
