Make a Beta Aquarium Decor with cricut!

Transform your simpleton of a fish jar into a fairytale!

If you have a fish simply just sitting there on that table, have you ever wondered if there's anything that you could do to make it look even better? To compliment that beautiful fish?
or if you'd like to gift someone a fish this jar is definitely going to a pretty beautiful handmade surprise!
What's more you can even add themes of your choice! Dragons, castles, shipwrecks, be it anything! If you have a cricut or if you plan to buy one, follow me the given steps. Its amazing how simple it really is.

 Materials Required:
A Cricut (maker/explore/joy)
Removable vinyl (any colour will look good. I prefer black)
A jar (any shape will do)

Step One: download PNG
choose what theme you'd like to go for and download/save them on your device.

Step two: open new project in cricut design space
Now click on the upload option
Upload the image that you need, remove the background (if you have a background) and despeckle to remove any minor unwanted specks. You can choose to smoothen the image of the image appears to be pixelated.

Once you're satisfied with the image, save it as a 'cut' file.
Now open this image in your canvas. Check the size of the image with reference to your jar to make sure that the image fits on your jar.
Don't forget to click on the save option if you think you'd like to try this project again.

Step Three: click on make it.
and choose "on mat 12*12" option
If you have any writings ready to cut, don't forget to turn the mirror option on.
And click on next

Now connect your device to your cricut
Place the removable vinyl over your standard grip mat and use a brayer or card to make sure that it's stuck well.
Set the cut setting to 'removable vinyl'
And press go button on your Cricut.

Once the cut is complete, if your project required only a small design, you can make a clean cut around the design and then weed the unwanted part off. Use a tranfer tape and place it over the cut image and run a card over it a few time to make sure that it is well stuck to the transfer tape.
Now lift it and place it over your jar.

And it's ready!
