10 MANY WAYS SOLVE YOUR PRINT THEN CUT ISSUES!
I had this great big dream of running a sticker shop, and before i had my cricut, i thought die cutting machines were flawless. They just cut and cut and cut and you just gotta earn and earn and earn. I forgot to factor in the reality that this is a man made machine that is slowly getting perfected and that every single die cutting machines out there in the market has its own flaws. And where there are flaws, there are certainly solutions!
One of the best features of cricut is print then cut, where the machine will print out any design of your choice, and cut according to the instructions you've provided on its software. In the beginning of your cricut journey, you will need a bit time with the machine to learn the practical realities of the machine. You must be prepared for this. The print then cut is most definitely an awesome feature and the cuts are precise.
But there will be times when the cut comes out differently from the way you intended. It'll look a bit off. Now, calibration is something that you can get easily do to solve this cricut print then cut issue. And you can find posts and articles everywhere related to this subject. I once struggled with my machine and i thought it was because my machine is faulty. But after much struggle i was able to get it to work well. Here are some other ways that you can try to fix your print then cut issues.
1. The normal calibration, do it more than once.
2. When calibration still doesn't work, try turning off the machine, unplug your Cricut.
Uninstall your design space app and reinstall it.
And sign in to your design space again.
3. Turn off your machine, unplug it. Now you see that cricut claw (that's what I call it) the tiny box that holds the blade?
Push it to the right and left a couple of times.

4. Check if there's any paper pieces or debris stuck on your blade tips.
5. Check if you have updated your Cricut Design Space.
If you haven't updated it, update it.
If you have updated it, calibrate the machine.
6. Check if your mat is sticky enough or your mat is bent and moving.
7. Try doing the print then cut project from the start to the finish, from the same device. Because sometimes issues can arrive if you've uploaded the project from one devices andgive the project to cut from another device.
8. Check the material of your project. If it has a shiny surface, the issue could be that cricut isn't able to read the lines when scanning.
9. Check if the issue is with your printer. Does it need a nozzle clean? Is there bleeding of ink in the print?
10. If nothing works, try cricut member care. They will surely help you out. So there is absolutely no need for to panic if you're facing trouble with your Cricut. Just reach out. And take a few deep breaths.
