What can a Cricut do for your earring business?

Absolutely everything!

there are so many cricut crafters out there minting money out of their cricut machine by just making earrings. And these aren't just any simple earrings.

They are absolutely gorgeous and comes in all different kinds! To name a few, there are,

1. Clay earrings

2. Faux leather earrings

3. Acrylic earrings

4. Resin earrings

How can a Cricut help you boost your earring business? Here are 5 techniques to polish your earring game!

1. Custom Shape Earrings

2. Stencil

3. Silkscreen

4. Designed Foiling for tranfer

5. Branding.

1. Custom Shape Earrings

If you have a cricut, maker or explore, these machines are so damn good at cutting all shapes super fast! Whatever your imagination, let it run free and wild! Go for faux leather, glitter leather, chunky leather and so much more!

one of my favourite go to shop for many cricut based earring projects is probably amyromeucrafts

these butterflies and the Santa boots earring above is by Amy Romeu. She makes all kinds of faux leather earrings. I really love her works and she makes YouTube tutorials as well! You should definitely check out her page if you have a passion to make faux leather earrings.

2. Stencils

One of the best ways to add an oomph to you clay earrings is to use patterns. These can add an extra dimension to your piece super quick and give it a professional look as well. You can definitely buy alot of stencils these days. But cricut makes it super simple to make stencils of your own and these are super affordable because you only need to buy the stencil sheet!

My number one go to page for earrings is definitely reserved for shopnovelpetals. She shares all of her ideas, techniques and methods for a very good number of earrings. She uses unique ways of making her earrings stand out

These pattern prints made by shopnovelpetals should give you an idea how stencils make patterns work on polymer clay.

3. Silkscreens

Silkscreens are another way to add beautiful textures to your earrings. All you have to do is choose the right colours and give the silkscreens a wash upon. I've given the links to two shops where they use silkscreens on their polymer clay. Jump ahead to check it out!

4. foil/metallic/holographic vinyl for tranfer

It would be difficult to put into words in how to use this as a technique to add on to your earring design. So i thought I'd show you how this works. Below given us a technique used by Marcella Taylor. You can head over to her page to watch the full video. I can get over how many techniques she brings out on her page. You should definitely follow her if you're a newbie earring maker!

5. Branding.

this is a super important part of making your product stand out and getting your name of there. There are so many people selling similar products out there and if you want people to remember your shop, you have got to make your packaging stand out. Its pretty simple when you have a cricut!

You can make unique backing cards, packaging boxes and branded custom stickers as well as thank you notes/stickers with your Cricut! Cricut can help you save a lot of money because custom stickers do not come cheap. And there's a reason why people have custom stickers all around their product packaging. You can even get QR codes of your shop, make your Cricut draw it and then then it on your packaging. You can take your branding to the next level and make foiled logos which will definitely make your packaging look like a high standard brand.
