is it possible to use Cricut print then cut without a printer?
-someone who is in their research mode to buy cricut, looking for the right information.
-someone who plans to start a business with cricut.
-someone who recently bought a cricut and looking for ways to use it.
-someone who has no printer at home but wants to use print then cut from their cricut.
-someone who has a printer that does not have bluetooth and they have no means of connecting it with their android/ipad.
- someone who needs more than one copies of a print then cut project and wishes to outsource the printing part alone.
I can add a few more categories to the above list, but you get the point so I'm going to drive right in.
The answer?
The simple answer is yes.
You can use print then cut even if you don't have a printer. But you will need a printer to get the project done. This means that you can get the print then cut file, printed from outside. You just need to get the file ready, and send this file for printing. This is done by converting the print then cut project into a 'print to pdf' file instead of directly getting it printed.
I'll go into depth about how to get this job done in another post. Because this one is just to clarify the doubt and not for the indepth process.
That being said, it is pretty easy to convert a project into a print then cut file via design space. So no worries on that part.
When it comes to print then cut projects, what you do definitely need, is a computer or iPad or any device which is not an android phone. Because you cannot create a new print then cut project on your android. Maybe because of resolution or file size issue... I am not sure. But you'll have to import your design with the help of any other device. The rest of the project can be completed with your android. It just cannot import.
